Splitting Semaphores in an espee NW2.

October 27, 2008

Here’s a view inside the cab of a Southern Pacific NW-2, one of 1143 of this type produced, although only a few survive today. This locomotive, although only produced in limited quantities in most model scales outsold the real successor, which was a more popular scale model, SW7 by more than 2-to-1.

Here’s a “roster shot” of this 1940’s EMC NW2, one of 50 built for the Southern Pacific.
